The Environment
Being environmentally conscious in our work is not just good for the
environment, it’s good for business, too. That’s why we strive to give the
environment a helping hand.
For example, the majority of our jobs are printed on recycled paper. We
then go a step further and recycle all of the scrap paper that remains
after a job— approximately 4,000 tons each year. In addition, we have
switched to water-based chemistry for our proofing and platemaking and
to vegetable oil-based inks. In all, over the past two decades we have
spent nearly a million dollars on new equipment and processes to lessen
our environmental impact in an effort to provide a safer, cleaner workplace.
Taking these extra steps to help safeguard the environment is just part of
our commitment to being good stewards of the world in which we do business.
